Looks Can Be Decieving

While this office may look completely normal and clean, there is a completely saturated carpet covering the floor.  Following the long spell of storms and rain in the previous weeks, this home experienced an influx of rainwater to the lower level of their home.  It is hard to tell there is damage at all, except if you were to feel the rug itself.  The longer the water sits in the carpeting, the more damage it would have caused.  In this case, the rug was not able to be dried out and saved completely, but the wooden furniture was not affected and could remain.
